Story and Gameplay
The game takes place in a space-themed setting where up to ten players each take on one of two roles, while most players become Crewmates, there are a few among them who are Imposters. The Crewmates have to complete the tasks around the map. Additionally, they also have to find out the identity of the Imposters and kill them. Meanwhile, the Imposters have to sabotage the Crewmates’ tasks and kill them, all the while hiding their identity. Now as a Crewmate dies, the other Crewmates eliminate the Imposters via a plurality vote. This can be initiated by any player by calling an emergency meeting. The Crewmates win if they manage to eliminate all the Imposters or they complete all the tasks. Whereas, the Imposters win if there are equal numbers of Imposters and Cremates, or if critical sabotage remains unresolved.

Among Us New Map Release Date
As you can see in the trailer that the release date says early 2021. However, that was almost three months ago and we’re already at the end of the second month of 2021. Since there is the announcement of the release date, we can only assume that the new map will release between April 2021 to May 2021. This is because, on 17 February 2021, the game’s official page on Twitter announced that there are still lots of work left to do and that they don’t want any compromises on quality or speed. So, it is pretty clear now that we can no longer expect the new map in early 2021. The website will keep you update with the release date or other new information as soon as Innersloth announces more details. For now, let’s just say that the new map to this game is still more than two months away.

What to Expect From the New Map
This new map is being released in place of the sequel to Among Us. The developers announced an Among Us 2, but they quickly canceled it. Then they started preparing for the new map and announced it on 10 December 2021 and released the trailer five days later. This was because, according to the developers, the sequel may not be as popular as the first part. So instead, they decided to focus development only on the original game, by adding more content to it. Here’s what you can expect from the new map of Among Us. The new map is called “Airship”, so the title itself is quite self-explanatory. The new map will be set in a huge red airship and it will feature multiple floors, contraptions, jobs, and much more. Players will have the opportunity to choose which room of the airship to start their game off in. Also, the below picture compares the food on each map. The first map “Skeld” contains pizza, while the second map “MIRA HQ” and the third map “Polus” contain pizza and donuts respectively. Meanwhile, in the right picture of the bottom row, we see the Airship map, where it suggests that it will contain some sort of soup.
The map will also include ladders and shortcuts, similar to the floating platforms that slowly transports players across the map. We will also get access to a whole new range of costumes for players to their characters up in. Additionally, Geoff Keighley’s face will be a new skin in Among Us. Geoff Keighley is a Canadian video game journalist and television presenter. He is popular for hosting the video game show GameTrailers TV. The new map is based upon Henry Stickmin’s Toppat Clan Airship. The Henry Stickmin is another popular game by Innersloth.
